: From the Hendersonville Times-News, June 14 (6A-7A):
: "'Until you watch it, you can't converse with me,' said one woman who attended the Second Annual Great Mohican Gathering held this weekend at Chimney Rock Park and mountain sites...
: "While those who attended the gathering see it as a fun way to visit with people who have a common interest, some siadtheir other friends question why they would travel to Western North Carolina to spend the weekend with people they met on the internet.
: "'You have to pick who you tell,' [Sarah] Zentner said."
: And WELL said it WAS! But who - I want to know - is the Unnamed Woman?
: (Of course, there was more to the article, and I nice photo of John Evans in costume with the props. And they mentioned the website address, so maybe we'll get some more locals joining.)
: -Sarah
Hello Sarah,
It was so nice to meet you, and I especially enjoyed your participation in our *campfire* discussions. It was I - the unnamed woman - that made the first comment, but it was taken a little out of context I think. It made it sound like I didn't talk with people unless they'd seen the movie, but what my comments inferred was that unless you'd seen the movie, you may not understand my passion for it, or the Gathering, or the website, etc. I thought it made things sound a little EXclusive, when I think we'd all agree that we're a very INclusive bunch all around. Anyway, I hope it wasn't perceived that way!
And I know what you mean about your cat. Right now I have five cats ( anybody need a kitten??? ) and by my fifth night away I was having nightmares about what I would return home to. Add that to my beloved German Shepard in the kennel, my daughter at my Mom's and I had plenty of children to miss and worry about. But, of course, I'd do it again in a skinny minute!!! I just tend to be a worry-wart mama.
Thanks again for agreeing to work with our photos. I'll get mine to you asap!
Talk with you soon,
Diana
