Good morning, MohicanPress & All Mohicanlanders!

Happy Memorial Day Weekend! As Rich said, give some thought to those who gave their lives for our freedom this weekend. This would be a good time to rent "Saving Private Ryan," if you haven't seen it already. What a powerful piece of movie making, and how movingly appropriate it is for a memorial day experience.

For those still trying to determine where to stay, I can only add that there is nothing quite like waking up each morning to the view of Hickory Nut Falls that dominates the town of Chimney Rock. It is inspirational,indeed! I can never look at that massive rock face, especially with the early morning sun lighting it up, without hearing the LOTM theme playing in my head. Does it for ME!

Wherever you decide to stay, though, be sure to come by the bunkhouse Thursday night, if possible, to pick up your packets, and say howdy! And definitely plan to spend Friday evening there, hanging out, watching videos, visiting with old friends & making new ones, examining all the Show & Tell goodies and the raffle items, and (of course) buying tickets for the Bunkhouse Raffle & the Mask Raffle.

Can't wait to see you all then!
