This year's gathering is going to be terrific, and last year's
was a blast! I really....... can't wait now. Counting the days.
I read Part 2 of the Wes Studi interview. I logged on as soon as
I got up this morning. I ended up going to the latest Mass at
church. I'm enjoying it so much. Getting to know about his life,
and his thoughts on the movie. I was surprised when he mentioned
tearing the cartilage in his knee while killing Uncas. Actors
aren't supposed to get hurt. We really see how much effort and
pain goes into making movies. Eric Hurley getting hurt during
the massacre scene and going to the hospital. Maurice Roeves and
his shoulder, etc, etc,.... Makes you appreciate their performances even more.
I'm surprised Wes felt "Alice" jumped to her death mainly from
being terrified. Yes, I felt that she was scared but also that
she decided she didn't want to go on living if Uncas was not. "She" decided what she was going to do with her life. She escaped from Magua the only way she could. Finally we get to find out
what Wes was thinking while performing those scenes. Everyone
has to read it. I can't wait for part 3. Ah I wish he was coming too! Whatdaya say Elaine? Can you work more miracles? I have the feeling you can do anything now... Looking forward to the magazine article. Before you know it, you two are going to be doing the talk show circut. Bye for now, Donna
