: Large Indian warparty crossed the river last night.  Raided some henhouses by Canajoharie and burned two settlers cabins.  Local militia drove them off.  No scalps taken.  Trail looks odd.  Looks like all them Indians got two left feet.  No - two right feet.  No - dang, if they aren't wearin' their moccasins on the wrong feet! Whaddya suppose is the significance o' that?  Where's this Girty fella that's supposed to be interpretin' these Indian signs for us?
