You're welcome, Ann. Let me say, though, that you should be able to request nitrous oxide from any dentist...a little fact I was sadly unaware of for many years. You will probably be charged $25 or so extra for it, but when you suffer like I do, it's worth it. It simply relaxes you and takes the misery out of it. One of my dentists from several years ago encouraged me to try it, and I've never gone back. As soon as the procedure (cleaning, fillings, whatever) is over, you breathe oxygen for a couple of minutes, and the nitrous is out of your system. You can drive, and everything. I highly recommend it.

As for the CD...well, you COULD take a little Walkman in if need be...though my dentist will provide those, too, if it helps make you comfortable. That way, you don't hear the drilling, etc. So, I say...one way or the other...Mohicanize your dentist visit! You'll be glad you did!
