: I beg of you -- forgive my silence and allow me to proffer my most sincere gratitude to you, Miss Marcia, Caitlin, Pat, and everyone in Mohicanland for the best wishes on my natal day.  While I was able to receive your message, I was not able to respond.

: I am now keeping quiet in the land of the enemy, Les Francaise, and keeping my head low lest it be made known aloud that I -- as a true convert to Mohicanland -- am a collaborator and a traitor. I cannot say I got no quarrel with Les Francaise, seeing how they are as duplicitous as the French Trader, and cannot be trusted in any fashion.  The only good thing here is the escargot, certainly not their tea!
