Hi, Champ! Haven't read the book, but I've heard it's excellent. The movie was really a sweet story, and I enjoyed it, though it may have been a lot different from the book. I'd recommend the film, as Chris did, as it has touching tale to tell, for sure. I just kept wishing the little boy acted as well as he looked. He was definitely a cutie, but not as natural as the little girl he befriended. That little girl could really act!

The relationship with his grandparents was very moving. If you had that kind of relationship with yours, how wonderful for you, and what special memories you must have.

Think I'll get the book...I'm curious now to see how it compares to the film. Chris, have you read it?
