Hi Rebecca!

I saw the 'Les Miserables' stage musical about 4 years ago when it was playing in Edinburgh and I just loved it!! It is very emotional and practically the whole audience came out with tissues in their hands!! I absolutely raved about it and was one of the first people to get tickets when it came back to Edinburgh last September! The actors were just fantastic and the musical scores just terrific!! There is little in the way of changes of scenery but the lighting is used to superb effect!! The whole essence of the musical can seem grim and quite depressing; dim lighting, heart wrenching story, sad ending but, at the same time, there is that elusive feeling that somehow the decency in the human spirit has triumphed over evil and cruelty.

I can heartily recommend going to see the stage musical of 'Les Miserables', if you get the chance, to one and all!
