The garden is alive with snowdrops, crocus's, daffodils, tulips, grape hyacinths and beautiful yellow and purple primroses! Yesterday was very misty, (could only see a few feet from the front of the car) and today - beautiful!! However, we are not stupid! From experience, we know we have all the rain to look forward to this month! We never get away with good weather too long! Still, I can always emigrate! :)
Sounds utterly lovely to ME, Kate! I've already been swatting summer mosquitoes in the yard, while trying to do some gardening (which Adrienne says sounds much better than doing "yard work," though a backbreaking job by any other name would still smell as bad...thank you, Shakespeare In Love!). We DO have spring here...this year, it was last Tuesday...and now we are into full summer. Oh, well...I'll not complain (TOO much) this year, if we can just escape the drought and forest fires of last! I'll just re-read your post from time to time & dream of Scottish mists, daffodils, and primroses! *sigh*
