Miz Crone,

Ma'am, I will be entertainin' a friend this evenin' and won't be 'round to give ole Dobbin his nightmare potion. If you c'ld boil up that licorice, garlic, and anise seed in 20 parts o' water fer 15 minutes and dose 'im, I promise to work extry hours nex' week.

Also, I'll finish daubin' the wattle on yer hut tomorrow.
