:     Thank you for your response to my post, I am amazed at the number of people here!  I have not seen Last of the Mohicans yet, but I'm trying.  You asked about Patrice Chereau, so I will try to tell you a little about him.  He is both a director and an actor, though he mostly does directing.  He was in the movie Danton, about the French Revolution.  It's about 15 years or so ago, and Gerard Depardieu (he was in Man in the Iron Mask I think?) was also in this.  Danton is an excellent movie.  Chereau also acted in Lucie Aubrac last year.  
:    As for his directing, he has done too many movies for me to name here!  The ones I think of are La Reine Margot, or Queen Margot.  Ceux qui m'aiment prendront le train which was last year, also very good.  This means Those who love me can take the train.  Also Hotel de France, and L' Homme blesse, or the Wounded Man.  He has also directed and produced operas before.  I think he is very talented, though he may not be famous here.  Americans don't seem to know much ab
