Dear Rich,
You mentioned the need for "feedback."
How right you are.
I am sure often you and Elaine felt as if you were talking against the wind, and your words were blown right back into your mouth.
I don't feel qualified to offer literal, and eloquent, feedback for I am not as knowledgeable about the period in question, neither do i have a compelling "(past-life) memory" which draws me back to this era. One exception are the Cherokees, I did a lot of research when i was working on a contemporary novel and later on its offshoot, a historical which included the Trail of Tears.
What ties in very well with this site, is your
AGAINST ALL ODDS.
Which, in your own words, is about a period which shaped (or helped to shape) the American character.
Too many times I have surfed into your other site, meant to sit down and absorb the information, and due to my currently very restless state of mind, could not stay long enough to benefit from my visit.
But thanks to its 24 hour a day permanent availability, I know that there is a site on the Internet, put together by a couple well versed in what they are presenting, which is waiting for me to learn from.
Take care.
