Hi, Sarah...well, I guess I must confess something that only a FEW people on this board know about me...as much as I LOVE LOTM, and in spite of the fact that I have watched it FAR more times than any other film, it is NOT my very most favorite movie of all time! There! I've said it! It's out in the open. Mighty Mohican Mama Marcia has other movies (2, in fact) that she loves EVEN more than LOTM! For sentimental reasons, my all time #1 favorite movie is The Wizard of Oz. I have loved it forever, and have a much larger site devoted to it than to Mohicans. And, dare I say this?, I truly believe The English Patient to be the most beautiful and profound motion picture I've ever seen, so it comes in 2nd to my mind, and I have a page devoted to it, as well.

But even though I'm rating Mohicans 3rd in my list of personal faves, I can honestly say that no other movie has ever had more of an impact on my life. I'm so in love with the time period, the mountains & waterfalls, the clash of cultures, and Le Longue Carabine, himself, that I relish every moment of the film. That's what brings me back to this board over and over again, and takes me to North Carolina every chance I get, and has been responsible for enriching my life in so many, many ways.

Having said that, I respectfully submit that I should be allowed to retain my position as your Mohican Mama, and be permitted to enjoy all aspects of Mohicanland. Please?????
