My dear and most respected E. Lane,
So good of you to take interest in the Activities of the CCCC. I declare few but yourself, being a Prima Cooperina as you are, care aught for Cooperism. We hope, of course, to remedy that. And we thank you for your support.

parched before it can be fine meal.
Oh, it was parched indeed, owing to the lateness of my arrival -- it's quite difficult to find speedy conveyances in the wilderness, and of course the delays one runs into dodging Hurons. She-etc. had roasted a pig for me, and served up some very tall grass which is called, in this country, Asperin Grass, I believe.
: : I might add that She-etc. has the most extraordary understanding of Le Longue Carabine, that one wonders how much longer he can avoid falling into her clutches. She-etc. quite amazes me.
: >>>>>> She-etc is MOST resourceful in her relentless pursuit of Le Longue Carabine. Her recent stab at "femi-nine" arts was quite a thing to behold!!! Mr. Carabine would be well advised to not let down his guard ... or his Killdeer! Lessen' he's the marryin' type...
Ah, it is my understanding She-etc. can place his very footsteps on the maps of the area surrounding the Horican. He cannot longue outrun her, methinks; whether he's the marryin' type or not, he's clearly Her True Hero and She being single and all...
Is there a priest in Mohicanland?
Kindest regards, as always,
