Thanks for the laugh! That was a precious two minutes, wasn't it? I think Deerslayer could not have done better than Judith Hutter. Her "gifts" were boundless. As for his reasons for not marrying her, I would like to smack him across the nose with my "Brown Bess" just to get his attention and tell him a thing or two. Guess it was just old JFC putting his mores into Natty's head.
