Deerslayer

Gayle,
Where are you? I just finished reading Deerslayer. It had mystery and adventure and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The verbose Natty/Deerslayer/Hawkeye and Hetty Hutter both drove me mad!!
When Deerslayer and Ghingachgook were caught off guard so many times, I thought: "You're great woodsmen, why didn't you anticipate that?" Guess they were young, green and still learning. Despite all this, I enjoyed reading it.
