LOTM on DVD/Director's Cut

:Is LOTM on DVD yet? Re: director's cut, if and when LOTM is released on DVD, do you think they will release it as a "director's cut"?
I have the Boxer (DDL's latest) on DVD and it includes a featurette, deleted scenes, a different ending, etc. So I was thinking that perhaps a LOTM release on DVD would include a director's cut.
Is that feasible?
Is LOTM on laserdisc yet?
