: : : Yes Penny, I had to hold back the tears at the very end when
: : : Thomas is talking about forgiving our father's. Brilliant fits
: : : this movie. If it doesn't get recognition at the awards, it'll
: : : just go to show how Hollywood misses the boat.
: :
: : Yes, Donna the ending was great. Adam Beach gave a wonderful, sensitive performance! His acting was impressive compared to SQUANTO....
: : BTW Penny told me that a soundtrack for SMOKE SIGNALS is out as well. I sure hope I can find it here in Canada. I'd love to listen to "John Wayne's Teeth " again. My husband and I had a good laugh!
: : Watch out for another movie by the same author/script writer (Sherman Alexie). I read in the paper that INDIAN KILLER was being filmed.
: : Rebecca
:
: Agree with both of you, Rebecca and Donna. Rebecca, if you can't find the soundtrack, let me know, I've got it and could send you a copy. We've bought it mostly for the "teeth song" and the song by Ulali, but everything else on it is good too.
: About "Indian Killer", I've read that Evan Adams (Thomas in 'Smoke Signals') is playing a psychopath killer in that movie. That should be interesting!
: Petra
OH, NO! Please don't tell me that Evan Adams is playing the indian killer in "Indian Killer"! I'm reading it at the moment (thanks to Amazon.com...) and I quote here from page 23: " He was now six feet and six inches tall and heavily muscled..." That doesn't sound like Evan Adams to me! Reading along I was kind of portraying a certain mr. Schweig playing the part....
Gosh, I'm all disappointed now!!!
