Geez, Penny...no WONDER you had trouble sleeping! ACK!! I give you the trophy, hands down, for the Juliette Lewis choice! Of course, I'm the first to admit I, personally, consider her a bad choice for any role, anywhere. Just my own opinion, but the thought of a skanky Alice just curdles my blood! *shudder* And the rest would be absolutely awful in this film, too! Demi, puddling up all over the place, thinking of the "Ghost" of Alice, while humming Unchained Melody! Eeek. Or Bruce leering his way through "I'm looking at YOU, Miss!" and smirking as he consoles Chingachgook at the end...ugh. And Julia...she's just too...too...too EVERYTHING to play Cora, though she's got the legs for racing up a mountainside. As for Sly...I can just see him now, flexing his biceps and curling his lip, while snarling, "YO...UNCAS!" Then there's Lou Diamond Phillips. In his favor, he has taken a cinematic plunge before, but I don't think falling from an airplane while strumming La Bamba on his guitar seems quite right for Uncas. No, sorry. Can't handle any of the above.

Now to see if I can forget your choices when MY bedtime rolls around...;o)
