: I too watched the series and agree, the complaining got to be a bit much. I was under the impression that they did do some research and were schooled beforehand in several things. In fact, one historian said he kept reiterating how much they would need for the winter, but they wouldn't seem to listen. It would have been interesting to see them go through the winter.
