Hi Rich,
I didn't realize when I first read this that it meant TODAY! I got a call from my son in Burlington, VT, saying they had felt it strongly. He was so startled to feel an earthquake back East that he forgot all his Alaskan training and went flying outdoors with his wife and baby. He said he thought something had hit the building and that it was falling. They didn't have any damage, and so far we haven't heard of any injuries. It was 5.1 on the Richter scale. I didn't hear how deep underground it was. My guess is- pretty deep, since it was felt over such a large area. Good excitement since there were no injuries.
