From "The Food Lover's Companion": Haggis (HAG-ihs) or
(I'm supposed to EAT this?? Are you *&^%$ing KIDDING me???)
This Scottish specialty is made by stuffing a sheep's stomach
lining with a minced mixture of the sheep's organs, suet,
oatmeal and onions, then simmering it in water for four hours.
Then you throw the whole mess out the window and drink a
quart of Scotch.(I made up that last part.) Now if you don't
happen to like Scotch, twisted perverse creature that you are,
a quart of Bumppo's Best will do nicely.
PS You're right, it was late '97 that I was referring to. Isn't
this an amazing post??? How often do you get the phrases
"stuffing a sheep's stomach" and "you're right" in the same post
from Kindly Old Senile Doc M?
Kissies!
