We are so sorry for your loss, Rich. My grandmother celebrated her 100th birthday in June and passed away about a month later. I cherish her and her memory...and there are thousands of those! While I miss her, I don't miss her because she is with me all the time. This is truly a sad time for you and your family but what a blessing for you to have had her. We'll say a prayer. Be safe on your trip and will see you back here later.

: Obviously, that's me on the left, with sister Kathy & brother Ronnie. In front, is Grandma & Mom. Photo taken about 2 and a half years ago at Grandma's 100th birthday party.
: Old Granny passed away on Tuesday, March 11, 2002 at the tender young age of 102 ... my last real link to the "old country," Italy. This remarkable & loving woman saw EVERY SINGLE minute, of every day, of the 20th Century ... in itself, quite an achievement! I will miss her dearly.
: Many of you may have heard of the shooting at a Catholic Church on Long Island, in Lynbrook, yesterday morning. A Priest and a worshipper were gunned down during morning Mass. The Priest, a day earlier, had blessed my Grandmother at her deathbed. Her funeral Mass was to be held at that very Church ... Very small, and very sick, World.
: Anyway, I'm off to the real wilds of New York for her funeral, and to see if I can find the Twin Towers. I'll look for you all along the road ... be back with you over the weekend.
