I'll take you up on your gracious offer, Pvt. Chauncey.
It's been decades since I read Roberts' Northwest Passage. If the real trek was anything like his depiction, it's a miracle any of them made it back.
Weeks of tromping through ice-encrusted swamps. Nothing to eat but some parched corn and the occasional Indian head. (Roberts had a bit of a fascination with cannibalism, didn't he?)
My idea of hell.
Did I mention I don't like the cold?
I don't even like to think about that COHT thing Seamus is talking about. Gives me the shivers.
You Rangers are some tough folks!

: Greetings,
: I will definitely get copies of tapes made for anyone who wants to. Chris, Rich, Theresa (?) - I've got your names at the head of the list. Seamus??
:
: I'll buy tapes here and you can just send me a check to cover tape and postage, once I send them out. Does that sound OK??
: Anyone else?? Just let me know ahead of time so I know how many I will need to make, and send me your delivery address for being found by a courier or a scout in your neck of the woods.
