: OK, OK--mine doesn't rate with yours--the Bounty---mine's a battleship, and the film was mostly made on the USS Alabama anyway, and Steven Segal is no DDL or Mel (and I am no Segalite!), and "Under Seige" is a very, very bad film.

Well, Nancy. I have spent the night on the USS Alabama. Had the run of the ship actually. They have a great program there for scout troups. You make your reservations and once the ship is closed to the public for the day, your troup takes over. We slept in the hanging cots, had pizza delivered and ate in the galley, played hide and seek (and that's some place to play that game). So, can we safely say I've slept where Steven Segal as slept? LOL!

: : I've trod the deck of the Bounty that was trod by Marlon Brando.
: : Of course, he was a lot prettier in those days...
: :I wish I had known that two years ago when I was in Sydney, Australia, for a business trip and took a tour on the very same bounty used in the movie. It is now a cruise ship for rent. My team hired it for a dinner party. We boarded in the the afternoon; the Bounty motored out to the harbor entrance and then gently sailed back in while the sun set and while we ate and wandered around the ship. I knew Mel had walked those very planks, which was good enough for me, but now I learn that DDL had also.
