: Ariel is now 3. In late November, 2002, just before her 4th birthday, the little rascal is scheduled to make another trip to Ontario, where her implants will be removed - her eye sockets then ready for glass eyes. She has had abdominal surgery to correct problems that had limited her ability to eat & digest, thus severely hampering her growth & development. Thankfully, all has gone well, and Ariel is now crawling & pulling herself up into a standing position to manually explore the darkness that encompasses her world.
