: Loyal yet Lonely Ye Olde Towne Crier

Hello! Count me in, Crier - another LOTM subject who is alive and well! Christmas may be only 10 days away, but you would never know it from the weather we've been experiencing here in the mid-Atlantic states: my part of VA went 76 days with no measurable rainfall, and temperatures as much as 15 or even 20 degrees above normal. As for the ski resorts, I understand they're really hurting in the mountains of Virginia, West Virginia, and North Carolina, as well. Still, people here are shopping like mad and as for Christmas lights and decorations, it looks as though our local power company will have a very Merry Christmas, indeed!
