As you may have heard already American Airlines Flight 587, crashed in Rockaway (near JFK airport). Initial indications of an explosion.

We are OK. I was at work & Debbie had the day off. We knew some relatives of a close friend who lived in Rockaway but thank goodness their house was about 100 blocks away (~ couple of miles).
