Back from the colonies...with full suit report....

: Just to let y'all know I arrived safely back from the colonies this morning after a wonderful visit to NC in full fall foliage - it was just beautiful.

: And I can indeed confirm that the father of the groom did indeed wear a suit...he looked most dashing...and I can honestly say that without his trademark cap (which must have been surgically removed from his head especially for the occasion) I barely recognised him.  I would however like to mention that after Rich & Elaine INSISTED on going out to meet my companion who, due to shyness, had remained hidden in my car whilst I gatecrashed the festivities, he asked me how I had met my 'hippy' friends!  Guess there is no concealing that infamous ponytail!

: PS Just for the record...I can definitely recommend the trail up Mt Pisgah for anyone in the area...the view from the top is stunning.
