Chris, Sorry I have been remiss in my writing, as I am working a lot. The snow was in Northeast VT, about 10 miles east of Montpelier. Apparently some people got trapped up on Mt. Washington that night - they weren't prepared for staying the night, either. Wow! Anchorage. I have always wanted to go to Alaska. My husband is from the west coast, and climbed mountains a lot out there. I am sure he would love to go as well.
