Help!! I'm a newcomer!

Hello Everyone!

You probably won't believe this, but I just discovered this website last night. It kept me up until 1:00 am (I have to get up for work at 5:00!) First of all, I'd like to thank those of you who maintain this site. It is wonderful! And though I know this subject has already been slashed, stabbed, and thrown off of a cliff numerous times, I feel I must speak on this. I saw this film in the theater when it was first released and I can still remember my first thought when the movie ended. "They are not telling us the REAL love story here. Something is missing." I did not even know that scenes between the characters of Uncas (deep, drooling sigh!)and Alice were cut out until I read it here. But even back then I just knew that something wasn't being told. So, my question to anyone willing to answer is this... Is there a 1992 version of this film that contains the edited "love scene" and if so, how can I get my grubby little hands on it? Please forgive me if this has already been addressed, but I just couldn't stay up any later to find out!! I appreciate any responses. Thank you, Genevieve
