: : : : Hi guys/girls,

: : : : I remember it being mentioned on the board, that Clannad also recorded a much longer version of "I will find you". I'd like to get my hands on that one, but I don't know what cd of them it's on. I'm pretty sure you can help me with that, though???

: : : : Thanks,

: : : Hi, Ilse,

: : : 'Bamba' ..... It's quite nice to hear the longer version.

: : : Lainey

: : Uhmmm .... sorry, Ilse. I mean Banba.

: Elaine, is Banba an Irish word? Do you happen to know it's meaning?

: Bea

Hi, Bea,

As a matter of fact ... it is & I do! She was the wife of the Celt King MacCuill, and is, mythologically speaking, one of the primary goddesses of ancient Ireland. She is sometimes thought of as goddess of fertility, other times, goddess of war.

Her name is sometimes invoked in poetry to represent Ireland's soul.

Thanks for the good question, Bea!
