Maybe it is just me....admittedly my email works only sporadically and my Internet access is even worse, I suffer from bouts of "senioritis" and usually see the world from the rose-tinted viewpoint that everyone wants the best for everyone else and everyone is everyone's friend...particularly in Mohicanland...so when the Board went down I just figured that Rich and Elaine needed a rest (after all, they have 27 children, day jobs, night jobs, web sites to manage, the North Carolina Department of the Interior to oversee, responsibility for the producing gross national product of Taiwan, and other duties too numerous and arduous to mention). Hey, these people are TIRED. They need a week or ten at Doc Mary's Home for the Terminally Exhausted! Like all good children, we just needed to wait until Mom and Dad got rested up and came home again....
Never in my wildest imagination did I imagine all this...stuff...going on! It wasn't until my server came up this morning with a week's worth of emails that I got a gander at all the interior strife and heartbreak...and I still don't believe it. The people I've met in Mohicanland...and I am making no exceptions here...have all been kind and friendly and hard workers and I refuse to believe anything different. If you believe the best about people, it will be so. There it is.
Mom and Dad, thanks for coming home early. But I'm still going to sit in the closet with my blanket over my head for a little while...
