: : I'd go with the live auction if at all possible, and if the Major would let loose of one bottle to sample before the festivities begin, well, the bidding might go even better.  I'd use the silent auction only as a backup if plan A fails.

: You know, I'm half way through painting my kitchen cupboards! But, I LIKE where this 'Case of Ping' thread is going... thinking of the RATHER LARGE cheque for Ariel next year!! *not to mention, Chris's suggestion that someone might have to sample the 'CASE' in question... Well, can't sell 'Ping' that don't have the 'zing', as Christina would say!! :o)
