You gave us the correct history of the feilabeg and feliamor. As the 77th Reg't of Foote (and my one-time Jacobite garb!) I wear the great kilt (feilamor).....when I go into the future for the 42nd Highlander Regiment (during American War for Independence) I wear the wee kilt (feilabeg). Both of these are pleated on the ground and belted round us. And, we make sure it is belted tight when we TRAVELL.....
