: I don't like to make excuses, but getting to the Geneva and not getting into bed until 2:30 am is probably why Claude and I didn't make this. I can assure you, we will be better prepared next time!

: I can identify with Theresa on this one...got to Chimney Rock at about 9:30 p.m. the night before but was so frazzled from running around for three days before trying to get "Gathering" preps done as well as finish fourteen assignments thrown at my head...that I just CRASHED...heck, we barely made breakfast at Louise's! but next time WILL be different...if only I can find my keys...

: : : : : ABOVE: What's wrong with this picture? Taken at roughly 6:30AM on June 14, 2001 at the Greenknob ... Answer below!
: : : : : OK, about the above photo ... of the 18 people there (including me, who took the picture), 5 of them are NON-US citizens .. 5 out of 7 who, by my count, attended the 2001 Gathering - Mary G., Rob, Adele, Ilse, & Kate. The other 2, Martha & Bertha, were on their way to this location, but turned back at Bear Den road, mistakenly thinking they still had an hour to go & would never make it. So, really, we would have had 100 percent non-US participation at this very early Gathering kickoff. Compare that to about 14% - 15% US participation. My point? I don't know, but it sure says something!

: : : : I think what it says is......those folks were still on European time and to THEIR body clock it was 2 PM! To the American's body clock it was 4:30 AM or earlier! Might be one answer......

: : : Ahh ... a good first guess ... but 4 of the 7 were ... Canadians! I think the answer lies elsewhere ...
: : Depends on the body clock. :) My clock is running down. Old body, need new one please.
