We all know that all those beautiful pictures from the Gathering bring back beautiful memories and remind us of friends, but did you know they can also be a source of workday stress relief?
I am currently STILL working on an article that is being re-edited for the fourth time after 12 weeks of reporting. I've developed a disturbing twitch in my right eyelid, my carpal tunnel is killing both arms,and I started laughing maniacally when a friend called a few hours ago and asked "How are things?" But what has kept me from covering my body with Post-It notes and babbling like an idiot?
It's the new concept of the "Mohicanland Moment," which I discussed with Grapeshot in an earlier e-mail.
When stress gets to you, conjure up your favorite Mohicanland scene or image and "go there." It's like those York Peppermint Patty commercials, only better!
