Ain't it awful??? Most schools are failing miserably in educating the youth of America in our early history. Sad, so sad...I guess that is one reason we do what we do...one of our goals is to educate by example, not only kids, but adults, too. Some are too thick to catch on, though! Can't win 'em all, I guess, but we will keep on trying.

You are absolutely right, too, about teachers being bogged down with useless busy work...Nancy, the dark-haired lass comes home almsot daily with more paperwork non-related to education than anyone needs. Man, don't get HER started!!!

Thanks for coming to our encampment, Theresa. I hope you learned something from us, besides Sex Education According to Quasi!

Interesting, indeed, as it states that more than one in five American teenagers don't understand the true meaning of Independence Day. Twenty-two percent of teens who responded to the survey commissioned by the Foundation didn't know that America declared independence from Great Britain during the Revolutionary Way. Fourteen percent thought the correct answer was France.
