At least on the Great Riverwalk March, no matter HOW FAR we went, no matter how long it took - we stayed alive!! Some of us, just! But we DID stay alive!!
Sorry! Maybe that sounded in poor taste. It wasn't meant to be. It just kinda reminded me - we've had some fun with this, lately, but when you read of the real thing, you KNOW you haven't EVER been in anything so barbaric and horrendous as the captors in this atrocity have - and, with the Grace of God, never will!!!
It's just beyond belief what one man will inflict on another, eh?? *shaking head in utter sorrow*
