Now, Bill... don' t you remember? I thanked you and paid you for them Monday morning. Unfortunately, I wasn't "ping-ed" out anyway. Ros only gave me one small sip, but that was certainly enough to understand why the recipe is so highly valued.
On a serious note, my MD brother-in-law convinced me that there was no way I could be as sick as I was after only 1-1/2 drinks, and having had dinner. He suspected a virus, or perhaps a food reaction. (That definitely helped restore a little bit of my destroyed self-esteem.) I heard rumors of others who also were sick Sunday night. If you were, would you email me privately (or on the board, if you wish). The epidemiologist in me is curious to know the extent of the problem, and the possible cause. If you email me, use the "beachak" addy. I'm still at my son's in Burlington. We'll be heading to Seattle today, and Anchorage tomorrow. The vacation's been good. We survived 95 degree weather in Maine!
I'm looking forward to reading the board and catching up on all the news since we left NC. Hope everyone is having a fun summer.
