: : I arrived back to work and have been constantly busy trying to "catch up" after being gone and so I've not added my "two cents" to the Thank you's.  Ellen put it so well that I find it hard to add anything else. However, I've never been the shy type, nor without something to say, :0)!, so I'll add just a few of my own.

: : Ellen told me about this great web site she found back at the first of the year, she also told me about the reunion and asked would I consider going with her.  Although I said yes, I wondered about meeting a group of strangers, especially ones who were nuts about some movie.  Now, I had seen LOTM a half dozen times and always thought it was a really wonderful movie, but a web site devoted to it?  Yeah, sure!

: : They say you can't chose your family, but you can your friends, Ellen is truly the sister of my heart, and we share 4 beautiful daughters, (her husband is ALL hers!!).  We've always had such fun on our adventures and travels, that I thought that at least we would have a good time and see some beautiful country.  What an understated thought!

: : Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have the time of my life and meet so many great people!  Marcia, Kate, Ros, the Sweetsters, Bill, and the rest, all welcomed these two newbies and treated us as though we had been a part of the group forever.  Thank you!  

: : Eric & Rich, you made it possible for Ellen to see and experience something thing that she will never forget, you will always have a big place in my heart for making that possible. Thanks isn't enough, but will have to do as there are no other words to convey just how special you two guys are!

: : John, you hung right in there with us, chating and keeping us company on those tuff walks, Thank you!

: : Steve, Belinda & Joe, Marc & Cherie, the other "newbies", and everyone else that I haven't listed, Thank you so much for your kindnesses, laughs, smiles, music and friendship.  It was a trip to remember, and Ellen & I both can hardly wait for the 6th & final?. I miss you all already!

: I'm sorry about taking so long to respond to your post. (It's been a hectic couple of days, getting ready to go home and the journey itself...) But I didn't want to leave it as it lay, without adding:

: You and Ellen were GREAT company!  You guys came in all smiles and all ready for 'adventcha's' and I knew that 'newbies' you might be, but... you'd be an integral part of the group pretty quickly!  I got a clue when you and Ellen were practically the first to put your names down to donate to Ariel's Cabin, when I put out the first of my appeals for donations.  I felt then that you guys were going to take part in this Gathering in all senses of the word.  Girls, I was honoured to make your acquintance!!

: Yeah, it HAS to make you wonder, doesn't it???  A website devoted to a movie, a large group of people who write some weird things on a message board and individuals who write under the name of 'Grapeshot Ramrod' or ''Dweebie Day-Lewis'??? Honestly, you've GOT to wonder!!  They're either a bunch of raving lunatics or... they're wonderfully entertaining! But to come all the way from California to find out which, certainly qualifies you as being one of the 'breed apart that makes no sense'!!  

: To have tackled the climb up to Table Rock, to WILLINGLY agree to a 7 mile Bataan Death March along the River Walk and to trek around the Cliff Trail of CRP, you are now duly recognised as qualified, fully paid up members of the 'Mohicanland Family'!!  (Yes, I DO know what I am saying and if that is Sedition then I am guilty of Sedition too!)

: Both you and Ellen were GREAT fun!  You were so amusing, such good company and your enthusiasm and determination to reach your goals was sheer inspirational! The way Ellen was determined to go one step further than she felt she could, was more stirring to the blood than any imagining could have been!!  THANK YOU SO MUCH for joining us, for bringing more to US than I'm sure we gave to you.  

: Well, I hope 'your' daughter has a real fairytale wedding, and I wish her everything that's good, in her life with her new partner. But... you guys will be sadly missed next year.  HOWEVER, we truly look forward to seeing you at the Sixth and Final (?) Great Mohican Gathering!!!
