: : My wonderful friend, Miss Katie, heads home to Scotland in just a few short hours, ending this year's terrific visit. Having her here is such a treat, and it will take me two days an' a bit to get used to being on my own again all day long. BUT...we have even better plans for our NEXT visit, so I have that to look forward to, at least.
: : Miss Katie, you are the BEST kind of friend a person could have!! Safe journey home!
: : Love,
: : MMMM
: Miss Kate,
: Have a wonderful and safe trip home. I know Marcia will be in the dumps for a while. Soon she can look forward to your next trip. Thank you for all the wonderful things you brought from Scotland. As you know, Jill and I did purchase just a few things. I am looking forward to seeing you in 2 years.

Hi Ellen!
Thank you for your best wishes. They were surely the reason I fnally got home safely, rather than ending up spending the rest of my days wondering alone through American Air Space, a lost soul searching only for a timetable that is comprehensible, a REAL ticket that takes you exactly where you wanna go and a route that connects to the planes you mean to catch!!! Doesn't sound like much too much to ask, now does it??? I feel if all you guys hadn't been wishing me a good journey, I would now be nothing more than a name on a 'Salvation Army Missing' Poster!! Thank goodness for friends, is all *I* can say!!!
Yeah, Marcia is finding it awfully quiet (so, what's she trying to say, I wonder??!!) and it's a little too quiet HERE, too!! However, yes, we've got PLANS to make, for a Fifth and Final (?) Gathering!!
The Scottish things - I DID note that you and Jill were doing your bit to raise funds for Ariel, yes indeedie, I did!! ;o) Good for you and Jill! And THANK YOU for the all those wonderful quilts and wall hangings that YOU brought along! They were JUST BEAUTIFUL!! (Okay, I admit it!! I, the shopkeeper, bought a quilt and a wall hanging!! Everyone else got the chance when I was ill, so I reckoned that once on my feet again, I was ENTITLED to git in there and get them tout de suite'!! And I RUN Ariel's Cabin, so I kin make the rules!) Seriously, I just loved them, Ellen and I've got them put away, for... well... you never know... Heather might decide that it's time to have kids... well, there's no harm having them 'just in case'... Now, there's NOOO pressure!! In fact, I'M TOO YOUNG TO BE A GRANDMA!!!)
But yes, see you in two years time - same time, same place!!!
Take care, Ellen
Love,
Kate.
