: One touched down for 20 minutes north west of here. Took out a small town. We had some pretty bad rain and wind, but nothing more where we are at. Generally the really bad weather does what is called the "madison split" and goes around us due to the two big lakes on either side of us. This time it didn't. Oh well.
: It is NEVER as bad is it is in the "flatlands of SE Texas".
: Hey Clabert, tell them all about tornados! Cindy must truly LOVE that place to brave out one of the worst places regarding tornado activity.

Bill, we have them pretty bad here in Alabama, too. Claude lost his mother in the one that came through Jefferson County in 1998. Glad you are okay. Those storms are to be respected.
Oh, and Clabert, tell your boss (or whatever he is) to open up a chain of motels. From our experience, there's a big market for foreigners to do that.
