I really enjoyed walking with you at Table Rock, and watching Eric lend a hand to someone else. He was MY hero 3 years earlier, so I know how much it means to have that help when you need it. I'm so glad you were able to get to that first beautiful overlook, and I hope you enjoyed the sense of being on top of the world as much as I did at my first Gathering.

Yes, parts of the Gathering are very strenuous, but look what you were able to do! If you had thought about it TOO much beforehand, you might not have been brave enough to try. Yet you made it to see several of the most beautiful places imaginable. I'm glad you gave it your best shot, and I hope it is something you will always remember...though I expect NEXT time you come, you'll do even MORE!

Keep that wonderful sense of humor and beautiful smile, always! It was a treat to be with you!
