Absolutely right! You can hand that sly man a handful of beads and with one glance he can tell you are trying to cheat him by giving him only 99 instead of the 100 paid for! Or, trying to give him a mug of rum, he can just by hefting it recognize that it has a thick bottom in an attempt to cheat him of a dram or two. On the other hand........I hear tell those Frenchies water their rum, "clip" their silver, and have been known to take one scalp and cut it up into five when seeking payment from their French masters.....
