It was great to meet you and glad you got home ok.

The scenes you are talking about, the Manor Inn, is in Asheville up on Charlotte Street. The first Gathering, I told my sisters it sure would be neat to see the "Grove Park Inn" (further up on Charlotte Street)...took them a bit to figure it out why there were no Grove Park Inn signs at the Manor Inn.

This Gathering, Eric H., Sharon and ourselves revisited the Inn after our picnic at Pisgah. The Inn has really been cleaned up and looks great. There is a portico over the entrance where Duncan's carriage stopped, but otherwize looks pretty much the same. It's all in Rich's book.
