back home again in IN (darn!)

Hello everyone!

Arrived back home about 11:00 pm last night with my sister, Karen. We sat for an hour on Hwy 40 in Asheville due to an accident? (never knew for sure). Smooth trip after that. Took a detour to Cherokee to spend some time at the museum and ended up behind a big, yellow Texas vehicle. Found it later in the parking lot of the museum - inhabitants nowhere to be seen! I'm sure I heard someone saying, "put those leggings back on. No wading in the museum fountain - breechclout or not!" Our own FT at it again.

I'll add my thanks to the many already posted for the wonderful time. So much time and effort by so many people - we all are most appreciative. Having Wes there was a real plus, but even without him it would have been great. Thanks, Elaine and Rich.

I never expected to see moi as a contestant of a wet t-shirt contest! And no, Rich - checking the picture wasn't the first thing I did upon arriving home. Had to get a good night's sleep to help steady the nerves first. Now where's the picture of the winner???

For Dana, so good to see you on the board again. Will be emailing you soon. Lunch and looking at pics are in our near future!

For Jo, we got the picture of Jo - so send me your address.

For Yolanda and Dan - can't wait to try the peach preserves. I'll try it while tuning in to the country music station (at 7:30 am).

For all who daintily stepped around the plant at the Elk hunt site and wondered what it was - a Rattlesnake Plantain.

Look forward to next year, but savoring memories of this one.
