Happity Hump Day everyone!

#13 - Some 1700's *STUFF*

*John Lawson listed 29 different Indian tribes living in NC in 1709.

*1711 (Sept 22)- 950 Tuscarora Indians lost their lives in a major battle of the Tuscorara War near the Indian village of Nooherooka (NW of present day Snow Hill, NC). Many whites lost their lives in this war also.

*1781 - Lord Cornwallis has the streets of Hillsborough paved with cobblestones.

*1775 - NC averages 50,000 head of cattle a year exported.

*1705 (March 8) - Blackbeard , marries his 13th wife in Bath, NC, the first incorporated town in NC.

In 21 days (or so) we'll meet Wes Studi,
and pilfer through the trader's booty!!!!
