: Aye, 'tis the same here here in Penn's Woods!! I taught an adult ed. course on the Carlisle Indian School the other evening, and when leaving the school, I had to pause, smell the air and feel the warmth of spring. For, it's a wonderful time of year, a time to be grateful for life and good friends. So, Pax Aye! Next week it's on to Fort Hunter, then on to the British Brigade event near Philadelphia....the sweet smell of spring will mingle with the sweet smell of gunpowder and sweat as we battle the Colonials!! Then....it's on to the Gathering!!

Welllll.....
When i walked out on the porch this morning the smell almost overpowered me! I think there must be a big fat doe up in the woods behind the house that croaked over the weekend, and now it's blown up like a balloon and must be about ready to pop!!! I'm real apprehensive to go looking for whatever it is. Maybe the odor will go away in the next week or so, i don't want to bury whatever i might find!
