: So, don't you guys do foreign movies? How 'bout adding King of Hearts, Diva, Small Change and The Year of Living Dangerously? And if you haven't seen Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, you've missed an amazing cinematic adventure.
: BTW, they just released King of Hearts on a special collectors edition DVD. It's still considered the best anti-war film ever made.
As a rule, true, I don't favor foreign films. Why? I have no idea. BUT ... I do well remember "King of Hearts." Saw that in an arts cinema many, many moons ago. It was powerful, to say the least!
I should say, though, that the excellent Zulu films were British productions. I have found that British history-oriented films can be much more objective than our American counterparts often are!
